I Totally Blew It...and still lost weight?

So this past weekend...does Thursday night count as the start of the weekend?...I totally blew it. Like banana cream pie, beer, wine, burritos and pizza blew it. It was awesome. 
My boyfriend's sister came into town, so we ate out for basically every meal. Oh ya, I had some AMAZING french toast too. I always say in my head, life is too short to skip out on these experiences, but if I keep having banana cream pie for lunch, my life may be pretty short anyway.
So, with trepidation, I got on the scale this morning to see what kind of damage I had caused....

I actually weighed LESS. This is a miracle. 

Now I know that if I keep eating all of these yummy foods, I will not lose weight. But it reminded me, that every once in awhile, IT IS OK to have a cheesy, delicious, La Salsa Burrito. 

And this weekend, I am going to totally blow it again. You see, I live in San Francisco, and this weekend is BAY TO BREAKERS. 

It's a race of sorts, but no one races, everyone gets dressed up, drinks ALOT, and parades through the city. And it is FUN.

Adding to the fun, the Oyster Festival is Sat, and Friday Night will be...something....

SO I am embracing the fun. But still trying to watch it....

I heard somewhere that it takes about 3 days for the scale to catch up... who knows if its true.

I completely agree with you though, it IS ok to eat your favorite foods once in a while. I have one day a week that I am not on a "diet." Remember that i am working on loosing weight, but i dont feel bad for eating something i like.
